Wal-Mart Confrontation

It’s truly surprising how many individuals get wrapped up in a Wal-Mart confrontation. Well, one of them turned ugly for two individuals when one of them grabbed a machete.

The good news is that they have arrested a suspect in the Wal-Mart confrontation. This individual allegedly “stabbed a man in the head with a machete” when the two were caught in the middle of a Wal-Mart brawl on a Friday morning in September in Kearny, New Jersey.

This is what led police to respond to that chaotic scene inside the Wal-Mart that was located on the normally nondescript Harrison Avenue in Kearney, New Jersey early that Friday morning where they, first of all, identified a suspect, according to the Sun. However, they did not arrest the suspect at the Wal-Mart because he had fled. Luckily, they were able to identify him after reviewing the surveillance tapes.

Kearney law enforcement also made the announcement of the man who had been stabbed in the head at that Wal-Mart on Twitter, letting the public know of just what had gone down at their beloved Harrison Avenue Wal-Mart.

The Twitter feed read: “Kearny detectives just arrested the suspect from today’s Walmart machete assault. He was taken into custody moments ago in Newark. More information to follow when available.”

Lt. Corbett told the local newspaper that there really hadn’t been “any reason” for the carnage surrounding this Wal-Mart confrontation, but he acknowledged that it could have “possibly been a fight” hours after the first-responders found a man that had a deep cut to the back of his head still in the store.

They rushed the victim to the University Hospital in Newark where he was treated for the deep gashes on the back of his head.

Although it did take the police a bit of time before they found the suspect, they ultimately cornered him that evening. They arrested Roberto Delgado-Gonzales, 29. Luckily, the victim has now been released from the hospital. It was unclear whether the two men knew each other and what the altercation was about.
