National Public Radio wants everyone to burn every book they own written by “white people.” The progressives are too snooty to put their censorship in such “crass” terms though. “Decolonizing your bookshelf” is all “about actively resisting and casting aside the colonialist ideas.” Anyone who reads John Grisham or Danielle Steel is a slave whipping plantation owner in disguise.
Liberals want to burn it all
Not only do liberals want to burn down police stations, dollar stores, and upscale shopping malls, they want to torch each and every book written by “white people.” Don’t use coal to heat your home, that’s not green enough. Instead, throw a few Ray Bradbury novels on the fire and you’ll soon be up to a toasty 451 degrees Fahrenheit.
You can start “decolonizing your bookshelf” by yanking every single volume written by a white person. That way the liberal reader can actively resist and cast aside “the colonialist ideas of narrative, storytelling, and literature that have pervaded the American psyche for so long.” That’s why adult coloring books are so popular.
If you are white, the taxpayer funded progressive propaganda mill vocalizes across the airwaves to illiterate people, “examine your bookshelf,” they order. They’re already convinced its just jam packed with books and authors that wrongly influence the way you “process the issues of racism and prejudice toward the disenfranchised.”
In essence, "decolonizing your bookshelf" is about actively resisting and casting aside the colonialist ideas of narrative, storytelling, and literature that have pervaded the American psyche for so long, says @itsjuanlove. https://t.co/pbSBx8Z4So

Only white people read white authors
Of course, people of color can read whatever they want because they don’t own any Stephen King novels or anything written by white folks. It’s only those who “identify as white” that need their books taken away to burn. “If you identify as white and read only the work of white authors, you are in some ways listening to an extension of your own voice on repeat,” NPR insists.
They say that like it’s a bad thing. “While the details and depth of experience may differ, white voices have dominated what has been considered canon for eons.” Could that be because white people work diligently to research and write things while people of color throw Molotov cocktails at the Autozone?
Those who know history are doomed to watch helplessly as those who don’t know history repeat it. A few years ago, in 612 BC, the Babylonians, now known as Iraqis, “burned the library of the scholar King Ashurbanipal. They weren’t content setting the wine shops and money changer’s tents on fire. No, they didn’t stop until they “sacked the Assyrian capital of Nineveh.” In case Antifa gets any funny ideas, President Trump already put them on notice he’ll call out the army before he lets them burn the Library of Congress.
