The attacks against Trump from within this administration are absolutely baffling.
The latest of these attacks is from Jennifer Williams, who serves as one of Vice President Mike Pence’s foreign policy advisers.
Last week, while giving testimony behind closed doors, Williams stated that the phone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky “struck me as unusual and inappropriate.”
Yet Another Betrayal
The fact of the matter is if this investigation was being requested against anyone but Joe Biden, nobody would be saying a word about it.
The entire Democrat party is looking at this as a request for political help.
How it should be looked at is possible corruption from a member of a previous administration.
Since Joe Biden was a member of that administration, don’t Americans have the right to know if a political candidate for the presidency was corrupt or abused his power?
If our suspicions are true, Biden did exactly what Democrats have accused Trump of doing!
We would think a member of Pence’s team would know the reason the aid was withheld, but that is clearly not the case here.
Williams, while giving her testimony, stated, “I believe I found the specific references to be more specific to the President in nature, to his personal political agenda, as opposed to … a broader foreign policy objective of the United States.
“I guess, for me, it shed some light on possible other motivations behind a security assistance hold.”
What We Actually Know
The transcripts for both the first and second phone calls have already been released by Trump.
There were no bribes or quid pro quo, whatever the Dems are calling it these days, in either phone call.
All of these lifelong diplomats are all overlooking the fact, however, that Biden could have done something wrong, so they are telling Democrats exactly what they want to hear.
Their opinion, however, is not fact.
What is fact, in addition to those transcripts, is that a top Ukrainian diplomat AND the actual President of Ukraine have come forward to say there was no quid pro quo and no pressure to hold the investigation.
Additionally, we know the two items Trump was allegedly holding over Zelensky’s head were both received by Ukraine, which were the White House meeting and the military aid.
Those are the facts but what Democrats are offering is political theater and nothing else.
