A press release by the Republican Party of New Mexico has been released, detailing a lawsuit requesting for all ballots to be impounded 2020 election in Bernalillo County.
The press release discussed a lawsuit filed in the Second Judicial District Court, requesting to have all ballots in the 2020 election impounded and checked. The GOP is asking the Court to examine the attributes of all of the ballots cast.
Congressional candidate Michelle Garcia Holmes submitted the petition at the request of the Republican Party of New Mexico. State law allows candidates the right to “have authorities impound tally sheets, registration certificates, paper ballots, absentee ballots, statements of canvass, absentee ballot applications and absentee ballot registers,” according to the RPNM.
The lawsuit is asking the court to impound all ballots from various voting centers in the county, including 70 Election Day voting centers, 17 early alternative voting locations, and 88 absentee voter precincts.
Chairman of the Republican Party of New Mexico, Steve Pearce, spoke about the issue, stating: “There are questions that still persist in this election that involve election integrity, and we must look closely at what happened here in New Mexico.”
The New Mexico Republican Party, which financed the lawsuit, is reportedly considering other lawsuits requesting to have ballots impounded in other counties within the state.
Many believe that they are concerned about the large number of mail-in votes in the state, which reached record high of 928,230 ballots cast.
Maggie Toulouse Oliver, New Mexico’s Secretary of State, has denounced the lawsuit, saying that there were multiple levels of checks to ensure accuracy in the process of ballot counting, and has continued to defend the integrity of the 2020 election in the state.
Mainstream media outlets are refusing to report on this story, most likely due to their constant claims that the 2020 election has been completely secure, and their refusal to inform the American people about the various allegations of voter fraud or irregularities that have arisen since November.
