President Trump does not tolerate people mocking him or laughing at him⌠he never has, even as a businessman.
That, however, is exactly what happened last night at a cocktail reception at Buckingham Palace, and Trump did not take it very lightly.
Like Gossiping Teenage Girls
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Macron, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson were standing around chatting, no doubt thinking they were doing so without worry of being taped.
In this day and age, however, they should know better.
The three men (there was a fourth unidentified man) were chatting and giggling, clearly about Trump, even though they did not mention his name.
Johnson asks Macron, âIs that why you were late?â
Trudeau then interjects, stating, âHe was late because he [Trump] takes a 40-minute press conference off the top.â
He then stated, âOh, ya, ya, ya⌠he announcedâŚâ
While we cannot hear with Trudeau is saying at this point in the video, Macron is very animated and obviously upset about Trump calling him out over ISIS and France not paying its fair share.
I would assume that is what he is talking about when Trudeau once again speaks.
Trudeau interjects, âYou just watched his teamâs jaws drop to the floor.â
This is when all of them share a chuckle, apparently at Trumpâs expense.
.@JustinTrudeau, @EmmanuelMacron, @BorisJohnson and other VIPs shared a few words at a Buckingham Palace reception Tuesday. No one mentions @realDonaldTrump by name, but they seem to be discussing his lengthy impromptu press conferences from earlier in the day. (Video: Host Pool) pic.twitter.com/dVgj48rpOP

The conversation was relayed to Trump today while the video was blowing up all over the internet.
Trump was obviously upset, calling Trudeau âtwo-facedâ and stating he was probably upset with our president because Trump had publicly called him out for not contributing enough to NATO.
Media Slams Trump
The media, of course, was loving every second of it
One of Trumpâs biggest detractors in the media, the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman, stated, “Canât get over this video, both for the fact that POTUS hates the thought of anyone laughing at him and for the fact that he long used âother countries are laughing at usâ as an attack against his predecessors.â
Noted political commentator Ian Bremmer stated, “This happens at every NATO summit with Trump. Every G7. Every G20.
“The US President is mocked by US allies behind his back.â
As this story was breaking, the end of the day at the summit was nearing, but Trump announced there would be no more press conferences, that he was headed home.
He tried to put a good spin on it, but he is obviously not happy about that videoâŚ
Great progress has been made by NATO over the last three years. Countries other than the U.S. have agreed to pay 130 Billion Dollars more per year, and by 2024, that number will be 400 Billion Dollars. NATO will be richer and stronger than ever before….

….When todayâs meetings are over, I will be heading back to Washington. We wonât be doing a press conference at the close of NATO because we did so many over the past two days. Safe travels to all!

I saw a video of Trump arriving at the airport and boarding Air Force One for his return trip, and you could see the scowl on his face and feel the anger radiating from him.
He knows this is what is going to be all over the media and that he will be bombarded with questions once he gets back on the ground here in the States.
I would expect every staffer he has right now is just trying to make sure he does not tweet out something while he is in this state of mind.
I would also think that once he does get back here, he will obliterate the countries that are taking advantage of NATO while not paying their fair share.
I would also expect Trump to look for revenge, plain and simple, because there is simply no way he is going to let this go.
Dig in, patriots, because it is going to be one hell of a ride once Trump gets back in D.C.
