Trump Reveals the Real Reason He Killed General Soleimani

Donald Trump

Donald Trump has made it clear that while he is in office, he will do everything in his power to defend this country.

While Dems believe Trump is trying to start a war, the President made it very clear General Soleimani was about to attack our country, which is exactly why he was taken out with a missile strike.

We Will Eliminate You

On Friday, Trump addressed the nation to provide more information as to why the attack against Iranian General Soleimani was assassinated.

Trump stated, “Soleimani was plotting imminent and sinister attacks on American diplomats and military personnel, but we caught him in the act and terminated him.

“Under my leadership, America’s policy is unambiguous to terrorists who harm or intend to harm any Americans.

“We will find you; we will eliminate you.

“We will always protect our diplomats, service members, all Americans, and our allies.”

Republicans Defend, Democrats Attack

Knowing Soleimani was planning to carry out attacks, we would have thought all of our elected representatives would stand behind Trump, but that is not the case.

Democrats are railing that the strike was carried out without the approval of Congress, but Congress was in recess.

Republican Senator Rand Paul also called out Trump for the strike, but he made his announcement before the State Department revealed that intelligence reports showed imminent attacks were about to take place.

Senator Lindsey Graham immediately defended Trump and the strike, telling Iran that if they wanted more, they would get it.

Senator Tom Cotton also defended the strike and President Trump.

He stated, “Qassem Soleimani masterminded Iran’s reign of terror for decades, including the deaths of hundreds of Americans.

“Tonight, he got what he richly deserved, and all those American soldiers who died by his hand also got what they deserved: justice.

“America is safer now after Soleimani’s demise.”

In response to the threats by Iran, Trump has ordered 3,000 troops back to the Middle East.

This is in addition to the 700 troops that were ordered to defend our embassy and the 14,000 troops that were sent back to the Middle East over the summer.

The most recent injection of troops were all from the 82nd Airborne.

Nobody here is looking to enter another conflict in the Middle East, but we cannot continue to be reactionary, either.

Trump clearly made the right move here by taking out Soleimani and if Iran continues to make these threats, I will stand behind any decision Trump makes to protect our interests and citizens.
