Trump has set another record, and this one is definitely catching the attention of the Democrat party.

On Thursday night, Trump set the all-time record for most-watched town hall on cable news TV.

Big Numbers for Trump

Prior to the Trump town hall, Bernie Sanders was leading the pack.

The Sanders town hall on Fox News pulled down 2.6 million viewers.

Well, as it turns out, the Trump encore viewing almost beat Sanders with about two million viewers.

The initial viewing for Trump’s town hall averaged 4.2 million during its time slot.

Not only that, the town hall had more viewers than both CNN and MSNBC combined.

The town hall also beat both outlets in the 25-54 demographic, which is the holy grail of viewers in the TV ratings world.

Sorry Adam

About a week ago, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) went on Jimmy Kimmel and professed Donald Trump to be dead in the water for re-election.

Schiff stated that Trump supporters were dying off, so as long as Dems turned out, there was no way that Trump wins re-election.

With those ratings numbers, it would seem that Schiff got things just a bit wrong.

Schiff should also be far more concerned with his party’s numbers than the Republican party.

Now the establishment is doing everything it can to rob Sanders and put Biden in the general election, their party is the one likely to have low turnout.

They all should have learned their lesson back in 2016, but we are seeing an exact repeat.

Sanders gets the big crowds and the vote, but his establishment opponent is the one that walks away with the victory.

It has gotten so bad, when Sanders appeared on ABC’s “This Week,” he openly stated that he is now fighting against the political establishment in his campaign.

Unless I am totally misreading the situation, Biden made a lot of backroom deals to lock down Buttigieg and Klobuchar (and Harris endorsed him today).

Those deals enabled Biden to win Minnesota and Warren still being the race cost Sanders at least two, if not as many as four states on Super Tuesday.

Come election day, regardless of Bernie throwing his support behind Biden, Dems are going to have a tough time getting those millennials that were promised all those freebies to pull the handle for Creepy Uncle Joe.
