Once again, a Democrat judge ruins Trump’s plans to get out of these legal problems.
The latest being a decision in the E. Jean Carroll case.
Judge Kaplan, who was appointed by Bill Clinton, shot down a recent filing by Trump on the matter.
Not Happening
Trump was hoping to get a new trial granted in the $5 million defamation settlement ordered against Trump and in favor of Carroll.
Trump’s legal team tried to make the case that since Trump was not found guilty of raping Carroll, the judgment was unreasonable.
Kaplan did not agree.
Carroll testified that Trump raped her three decades ago in a Manhattan store.
After the allegation was made, Trump called the entire claim a hoax, as well as trashing Carroll every chance he got.
Trump ended up losing the case, but then he went right back on Truth Social to slam Carroll again, opening himself up to another possible lawsuit.
Trump still has several legal challenges ahead of him.
Most notably, the upcoming March trial for the Stormy Daniels hush money, which was filed by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
This also happens to be one of the biggest miscarriages of justice, with Bragg stacking felony charges, literally breaking out every ledger entry as another charge.
The only real hope Bragg has of winning is the fact the trial will be in New York, where Trump is unlikely to get a fair shake from the judge or the jury.
