The judiciary is supposed to be fair, free from political bias, but I think we can all agree that is not the case these days.
Because of the recent statement by both Justice Ginsburg and Justice Sotomayor, President Trump is now suggesting both should recuse themselves from any cases related to Trump or this administration when they come before the Supreme Court…

Justice Sotomayor
Trump made his statement after the recent decision by the Supreme Court on the “Public Charge” immigration policy.
The new policy mandates that immigrants be able to be self-sufficient before settling in the United States.
The reasoning behind this is to help cut spending by ensuring public assistance programs are not taxed by new immigrants.
After the Supreme Court issued a 5-4 ruling, with everyone voting along ideological lines, Justice Sotomayor penned the dissent.
She wrote, “Today’s decision follows a now-familiar pattern.
“The Government seeks emergency relief from this Court, asking it to grant a stay where two lower courts have not.
“The Government insists—even though review in a court of appeals is imminent—that it will suffer irreparable harm if this Court does not grant a stay. And the Court yields.”

During the 2016 election, Justice Ginsburg was very vocal about her opposition to Trump.
While interviewing with CNN, she stated, “He is a faker. He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment.
“He really has an ego. … How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that.”
Yes, we do have a tainted judiciary, but that politicism stretches across both sides of the aisle.
When you can predict the outcome of a case simply by knowing who appointed the judge, the alarm bell should be sounded.
However, Sotomayor is far from the solution, as she has definitively proven herself to be a major part of this problem.
