I am honestly not sure if Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) will ever get the message about continuously going against the party.
Romney has once again decided to swim upstream, saying that he is against the new investigations into Hunter Biden and Burisma.
Political Attacks
When Romney was asked if he thought the investigation was going to be perceived as political, he stated, “There’s no question that the appearance of looking into Burisma & Hunter Biden appears political.
“And I think people are tired of these kinds of political investigations. I would hope that if there is something of significance that needs to be evaluated, it would be done by perhaps the FBI or some other agency that is not as political as perhaps a committee of our body.
“We also have a lot of work to do on matters that are not related to Burisma.
“We probably ought to focus on those things.
“But I’m going to get the chance today to talk with the chairman and get his perspective.”
This surely is not going to gain him any more favors in the party, especially with so many Americans wanting to get to the bottom of this once and for all.
Agree but Disagree
This may sound like I am going against my own words, but I really think a Senate investigation into Burisma is the wrong way to go, but I don’t think this for political reasons.
The Biden connections to Burisma must be investigated but asking the Senate to do it is like asking a bank robber to investigate his own crime.
The corruption in our government runs deep and I believe more than 50 percent of our elected representatives in office, at least, are or were doing the same thing that Biden did all those years in making his family members rich.
They will never truly expose what is going on because they would be exposing the truth about their corruption.
My guess is that when this investigation is wrapped up, it will something along the lines that the perception was bad, but Joe never did anything wrong.
They need it to appear as though they did an investigation so Barr does not appoint an outside investigator to look into it.
Joe Biden made his sister rich running his campaigns and he made the rest of his family reach between 2009 and 2017. That, my friends, is not a coincidence and believe me, this runs far deeper than Burisma.
