Navy Security forces “neutralized” yet another Naval base shooter as soon as he opened fire, a U.S. official exclusively told The U.S. Naval Institute Thursday. An unknown “Arab male” was killed in a gun battle at the Texas Naval Air Station, near Corpus Christi, the military focused independent news outlet reports. The FBI is investigating the developing incident and details are still trickling in.

Shooter was ‘neutralized,’ believed dead

The Federal Bureau of Instigation will soon be blaming Apple for their phone encryption again. Early and unconfirmed reports indicate that the shooter was an Arab male, just like the one who shot up the Naval base in Pensacola, Florida. What is known is that the FBI is responding and the terrorist “no longer poses a threat.” It sounds like he’s dead but nobody is certain.

About 7:15 a.m. EST base security responded to “an active shooter.” It resulted in “the injury to the NSF sailor.” The gunman was killed by the NSF team, the unnamed official relates. That was confirmed by the Navy. “One sailor attached to NAS Corpus Christi Navy Security Forces sustained minor injuries and was released from a local hospital.”

The incident occurred near the North Gate, which remains closed but “The installation has reopened with traffic flowing through the South Gate.”

Independent reports

Local news station KIII aired an amateur video on which “about two dozen shots of small-arms fire can be heard.” The video confirms the incident happened at the North Gate. “Cars were lined up waiting to enter the base through the base’s North Gate when the shooting occurred.”

One 911 call recording indicates local police in Corpus Christi were “alerted to an active shooter on base at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi during the morning commute.”

The Naval Air station houses four squadrons from Training Air Wing Four. “Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and foreign student pilots train at the base.” Another interesting fact is they also provide a home for the Corpus Christi Army Depot. That “serves as the primary maintenance depot for Department of Defense rotary-wing aircraft.”

Only a few days earlier, Attorney General William Barr announced that the Pensacola Naval Air Station shooter, who killed three sailors, worked for Al Qaeda. The Army has had a couple of disturbing incidents recently in Texas too. The recently discovered body of Fort Hood soldier Brandon Scott Rosecrans may or may not be related to the disappearance of Vanessa Guillen from that same base three weeks ago. One or both of those incidents could tie in with this one as well. Stay tuned for updates as they happen.

  1. The first report of this I saw yesterday, addressed the possibility of a accomplice/2nd shooter. What happened to that theory?

  2. It’s amazing how often we are having shooters who are NOT white supremacists. Shortly after Obama put The Muslim Brotherhood in charge of establishing a policy against terrorism, the announcement was made that it was the white supremacists who were the problem and responsible for the great majority of shootings. Since that announcement, I’m not sure I can remember a single shooter who was a white supremacist An incredible number of the shooters are named Ahmed, Mohammad or the like. The white supremacists are badly falling behind, so if you see one, keep your eye on him because they are way past due.
