They Found Her Nude Remains on the Side of the Road…Family in Disbelief

One Instagram model’s life just came to a tragic end. 26-year-old Alexis Sharkey’s remains were just found on the side of the road in Houston Texas. She had her whole life ahead of her. Was her husband the killer?

Friends become suspicious when Alexis Sharkey didn’t show up to a movie date they had planned. Family was also concerned when she didn’t post on social media for a day.

The 26-year-old influencer was an aspiring model with more than 22,000 followers on Instagram.

Her family tried to reach her, and when they couldn’t get a hold of her they immediately filed a missing person report with Houston Police.

On Sunday, the family got the horrific news. Houston Police notified them that Alexis Sharkey’s remains were found by city workers off of a Houston highway early Saturday morning.

Now her loved ones are shocked, heart broken and seeking justice. One of Alexis’ friends, Tanya Ricardo, told reporters, “I mean, just threw her on the side of the road, naked, like garbage. I just, I don’t get it… No one gets away with something like this. No one.”

Alexis’ mom, Stacey Robinault, thanked their family and friends for their support during this difficult time. She wrote on Facebook, “We cannot begin to thank you all for your love and the kind words you’ve extended to our family! Please give us this time to grieve this incredible loss to our family and this world!!!”

Foul play expected

Though Alexis’ cause of death is pending, a “broken-hearted” Stacey believes her daughter was the victim of foul play. She told reporters, “I do believe she was murdered. Yes.

From what I’ve been able to gather as well as a mother’s gut. I learned very young as a mom to trust my gut. It’s not let me down.”

Close friends have told reporters that Alexis was going through a divorce with her 49-year-old husband, who shared a home with her. “She was a very private person,” her friend Tanya said. “She didn’t share a lot about what was going on at home. Her husband, Tom Sharkey, also expressed grief over her death, writing on Facebook that he is “lost” after losing Alexis, who he called “My one and only!” An autopsy of the remains is underway. The investigation is still pending.
