The War With China Just Got VERY Real

war

Imperial Leader Joe Biden really wants to have his close friend Xi Jinping on speed dial in case they need to avert the next nuclear war or something, but can’t even get a working number. He wants one of those “hotline to the Kremlin style red phones” installed on his desk so he can reach out to Red China in case of a nasty cyber-attack, or biowarfare containment incident, or anything else that suddenly develops.

War of the wire

His Wisdom just dusted off another one of those Barack Obama era ideas that didn’t work and is finding out it still won’t work. No matter how bad Joe Biden wants to have a personal hotline to Xi Jinping it isn’t going to happen. His advisors over at the Pentagon explained to Joe, slowly and patiently, in words they hope he can remember, that they already have one.

According to Kurt Campbell, the senior National Security Council Indo-Pacific coordinator, we “do have a hotline. It’s known to have, the couple of times we’ve used it, just rung in an empty room for hours upon hours.” That’s not real helpful when you need it to stop a war.

Xi Jinping doesn’t want to get tied down to any particular place just so Joe Biden can call him up when he feels lonely at 3:00 a.m. The Chinese dictator could never trust one of his generals to talk to Joe Biden behind his back, so the idea is DOA. That doesn’t stop the Biden regime from beating the dead horse a few more times.

It’s become the war of the wire. The Russian one was useful back in the Cuban missile crisis days but the last time it was used, Obama abused the privilege by warning Putin to stay out of the 2016 election. Xi Jinping won’t go running to the phone just because Joe Biden wants to talk to him. Have him send the message through Hunter. Isn’t that what they pay him for?

The Imperial Palace just won’t let go of the idea of some sort of “rapid communication tool” which could be “folded into a broader effort” to reduce the risk of war with China.

It would be nice if Xi would pick up the phone once in a while to say something like, “Uh, just wanted to let you know we had a virus escape.” All they want is the ability to have “President Joe Biden or top officials on his national security team immediately send encrypted phone calls or messages to President Xi Jinping, or those around him.”

They have to let it ring until the boss is ordered by his boss to answer it.

Cyber attack warnings

The most likely use of such a red phone hotline to the Red Chinese would be to share “sudden military movements” or warning messages about cyber hacks.

The reason why nobody will answer the phone on the other side is because Chinese government works from top down. Underlings can’t say, hey boss the phone is ringing. They have to wait and let it ring until the boss is ordered by his boss to answer it. By then, the nuclear war is over.

The biggest reason why setting up such a hotline is a bad idea is because China is “hostile, predatory and highly capable,” former State Department official David Feith warns.

The U.S. “must organize to defend and push back across the board. The Biden administration has said that they plan to do that. So while setting up a phone line can be useful, we shouldn’t sink too much significance into it.” It would start a war faster than end one.

Even palace officials are starting to get the message that a hotline to China won’t work. It’s a war not worth fighting.

According to the NSC official, do “I think it’s possible that the United States and China can coexist and live in peace? Yes, I do. But I do think the challenge is going to be enormously difficult for this generation and the next.”
