I honestly thought I heard it all…
During the first day of the impeachment hearings, Schiff switched the narrative from quid pro quo to saying President Trump bribed Ukraine.
It was a curious flip in the narrative, but the reason this happened was revealed today during the impeachment hearings by Fox News’ Chris Wallace.
Whatever Works Best
According to Wallace, Democrats in the House hired a focus group to go over different terms to find out which sounded more criminal.
When all was said and done, the focus group stated that bribery sounded far worse than quid pro quo, so the new narrative was born.
Now, I want you to really think about this…
A paid focus group is responsible for the charges against the President.
If you needed proof this impeachment is political theater and nothing more, this should do it.
What About the Facts?
An impeachment of the president of the United States should not be about what plays well in the media but rather the facts and the facts alone.
Democrats, however, are not operating that way.
Can you imagine a prosecuting attorney hiring a group of individuals to “test” the alleged crimes of someone to see what will play better and create more outrage in the public?
Well, that is what Adam Schiff and House Democrats have actually done here.
Now, Schiff is also trying to add witness intimidation to the impeachment because Trump was critical of today’s witness, Marie Yovanovitch, while she was testifying.
Personally, I am sickened by the entire approach, but Senator Lindsey Graham warned us all this was going to happen.
Before the public hearings started, he told the media he hates public hearings because they end up being nothing more than theater and a sideshow.
He could not have been more correct because the political theater that is going on right now is shameful considering the stakes at risk.
