The Democrats have so far failed to cancel Donald Trump, but they still scrambling to find some way to prevent him from running for office again. A new poll shows that their efforts may be having the opposite effect.
Rising Poll Numbers
A Politico/Morning Consult Poll released on February 15 shows that Trump’s popularity is only increasing.
According to the new poll, 59 percent of Republican voters want to see Donald Trump play a major role in the future of the Republican Party moving forward. This is an 18 point increase from the previous poll released on January 7.
Trump’s popularity among GOP voters has also increased, with 81 percent of Republicans saying they have a positive view of the former president, compared to 77 percent in January.
If the 2024 Republican presidential primary were held today, President Trump would win by a significant margin, 53 percent. Mike Pence came in at second with only 12 percent, while Donald Trump Jr. tied for third place with former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley at 6 percent.
Trump Isn’t Going Anywhere
GOP voters don’t want President Trump to leave the political arena, and it seems that Trump doesn’t either.
“In the months ahead, I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people,” Trump said.
Despite the best attempts of the mainstream media and the Democrat Party, impeachment failed. This was their main strategy to prevent Trump from running again, but they haven’t given up yet. These new poll numbers show that Donald Trump will be a major threat to the Democrats’ power in 2024, and they know it.
