Ask any emergency room attendant or doctor, and they will tell you all kinds of stories about the things that could happen on the operating room table. Believe me, they have seen all kinds of things. However, the most recent footage from a Russian hospital room has to take the cake, because it’s not just bizarre, but it’s terrifying as well. Apparently, doctors in this Russian hospital had the unenviable task of pulling out a four-foot-long snake that had evidently slithered inside the woman while she had been sleeping outside!
“We need to see what this is,” a man is saying in the video as a terrified doctor begins pulling out the large cold-blooded creature from the woman’s digestive tract. Now, I don’t know about you, but snakes don’t bother me just as long as they stay out of my body…YIKES….
Of course, this brings up a whole litany of questions: Was the snake alive? How long had the snake been inside the woman before she started feeling ill? Of course, the outlet that provided this video also said they couldn’t independently verify whether the video was authentic or not.
A Health Ministry official from the Republic of Dagestan was tasked with investigating this video, according to a report from the Sun.
The chief doctor at the hospital is Patimat Abdurashidova, and she said she has never been aware of a more unusual being performed at the Levashinsky District Hospital.
Naturally, it goes without saying that almost all local officials recommend that their citizens do not sleep outside, and this is one of the main reasons. Thankfully, most of these incidents are infrequent simply because there is a greater chance that a snake seeking shelter will enter a person’s mouth. Let’s hope this woman takes that advice to heart and doesn’t sleep outside very often, if at all.
