Up and down the Democrat party, it sounds a lot like panic is starting to set in.
The most recent example is Al Sharpton, who is now conceding that Democrats may not be able to defeat Trump come election day.
Kitchen Table Issues
World problems are obviously something to be concerned with, but the average American is more worried about being able to provide for his or her family before they worry about sending trillions in aid to other countries.
For most of the last decade, families have struggled, but that has all changed with Donald Trump being president.
Trump was able to tap into the average person’s frustrations and these are the issues he was deadest on fixing once he came into office.
Today, Americans are making more money, they are adding money to their bank accounts, and the economy and stock market are flourishing.
It is for that reason, Sharpton believes it could be tough sledding for Democrats.
Sharpton stated this election will be about “me, my house, food on my table, my kids’ tuition.”
He then added, “I think voters really that are struggling, which are a lot of the base of the Democratic Party, are really trying to deal with kitchen-table issues.
“That’s what we’ve got to address, particularly while you have a president that’s bragging about the economy.
“Right now, we cannot say with any comfort that Donald Trump would not be reelected.
“That should make us uncomfortable.”
Most Democrats are running on platforms of helping everyone but Americans.
In fact, their positions would actually hurt most Americans.
They want to kill the fossil fuel industry, which would cost hundreds of thousands of jobs.
They want to end criminal prosecution of illegal immigrants and Biden actually stated he would be open to allowing an additional two million in right away.
If that happens, lower-paying jobs are going to disappear and Americans without an education will be pushed out of their jobs.
This will also impact the overall salary structure throughout the country.
Right now, salaries are rising because of low employment.
The policies Democrats want to put into place will put this country into another depression, probably worse than we saw when Obama took over in 2008.
Americans that do not necessarily support Trump in office see that extra money and there is little doubt they will think twice about putting a Democrat in office that wants to take that all away from them.
