A Shark Tank star is calling out Whoopi Goldberg for being overweight, and needless to say, in today’s “woke” culture, it went over like a lead balloon.

Celebrity entrepreneur Barbara Corcoran apologized for what many were calling a cheap slam and a “fat-shaming” joke that had been made against Whoopi Goldberg during a live broadcast of “The View.”

Corcoran and several other hosts of “the Shark Tank” had been on the show talking about pants when Corcoran fired off a jab discussing the relative sizes of her pants with those of Goldberg’s.

“Well, I will have to try them,” Whoopi said in regards to a brand of pants that had been featured on “The Shark Tank.”

Celebrity entrepreneur Barbara Corcoran apologized for what some called a “fat-shaming” joke against Whoopi Goldberg during a live broadcast of “The View.”

Corcoran and the other hosts of “The Shark Tank” were on the show talking about pants when she fired off a jab, noting the relative sizes of her pants with those of Goldberg.

“Well I have to try them,” said Goldberg of a brand of pants featured on the “Shark Tank.”

“Will they fit this COVID [butt]?” Goldberg asked.

“Yes they will!” co-host Sunny Hostin replied.

The hosts continued to engage in playful banter about their derrieres growing during this pandemic (and frankly, that’s not really a thought I want to have) and that is when Corcoran pounced on the situation and took the opportunity to be about as non-P.C. as she possibly could get. Maybe if Trump gets back in, he should give her a cabinet post, but I digress.

“And when you get finished with those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me, I’m gonna make two pairs!” laughed Corcoran.

Of course, this is liberal daytime T.V., so naturally her joke was met with tremendous scorn by much of the audience as well as co-host Ana Navarro. She quickly made her own crack against Corcoran’s dress. Moreover, many viewers objected to the joke and began to lambast Corcoran on social media. Sorry Barbara, you might have made it big as an entrepreneur, but you’ve now got on the bad side of the P.C. police.

Corcoran later took to Twitter to do the same old thing that everyone always does: post a video apology.

“I just came back from ‘The View’ and saw my old friend Whoopi. As you well know, she has a phenomenal sense of humor, and I’ve known Whoopi for years,” said Corcoran.

“I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny,” she added. “For anyone who I may have offended unintentionally, I just wanted to say I really am very sorry.”

However, these are liberals we are talking about, so they didn’t accept the apology. There were several critics on Twitter that continued to pound on Corcoran.

“This wasn’t about Whoopi’s humor. And if you need to question IF fat shaming is offensive then seems like you didn’t really learn anything,” said one detractor.

This shark tank star came from humble beginnings before she started her billion-dollar real estate business, beginning with a menial, everyday job as a waitress.

Here is where this verbal exchange occurred:
