Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have been openly jousting in the media lately.
While most people are actually siding with Bernie Sanders, some insiders are coming forward to say Bernie is not necessarily the nice guy everyone thinks he is.
Warren has come out of this little feud with people doubting her honesty even more.
She has lied about so many things during this campaign, she is far less believable than Bernie on this issue.
After Warren called out Bernie for calling her a liar on national TV and the audio was picked up on a hot mic, several people came forward to say this about par for the course for Bernie.
Peter Shumlin, who knows Bernie well from serving as Vermont’s governor from 2011 to 2017, said that Bernie has no problem playing “dirty” when it comes to politics.
He stated, “What I’ve seen in Bernie’s politics is he and his team feel they’re holier than the rest.
“In the end, they will play dirty because they think that they pass a purity test that Republicans and most Democrats don’t pass.
“What you’re seeing now is, in the end, even if he considers you a friend, like Elizabeth Warren, Bernie will come first.
“That’s the pattern we’ve seen over the years in Vermont, and that’s what we are seeing now nationally.”
Proof in the Pudding
How Bernie got this grandfatherly image among voters is a mystery.
He proved during the 2016 election that he is not a nice person and that he is prepared to say just about anything if it gets him a headline.
Look at the unfounded accusations he continues to make against Trump but then how offended he gets when Trump strikes back at him.
Sanders is now also on the hook for a video ad that Joe Biden is claiming has been doctored to misrepresent a previous position by Joe Biden.
Make no mistake about it, while Bernie says the party needs to unite, he is the one lobbing the biggest bombs right now.
Bernie is an old-school mudslinger, and it’s about time someone finally admitted it.
