Things are starting to close in on Obama officials and it now appears to be only a matter of time before several high-ranking Obama staffers are sitting in front of U.S. Attorney John Durham.
According to new reports, Durham is âvery interestedâ in talking to both James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, the former Director of the CIA.
Doom is Near
If you think Democrats are not worried about this, think again.
The entire party is either in prepare or protect mode.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has been on the media circuit saying this investigation is illegitimate.
The funny thing about that is he is describing this investigation very much the way Trump described the Mueller investigation.
Just keep that in the back of your head for when something turns up because unlike Trump, Durham is bound to produce indictments against Obama officials on matters actually related to this investigation, not tax fraud.
On the flip side of that coin is Barack Obama, who seems to be preparing his liberal horde for the shoe to drop.
He recently appeared at an event calling out âwokeâ young liberals and telling them not everyone is perfect.
As I said in our article at the time (which you can read in full by clicking here), it sounded as though Obama was bracing them for some bad news.
James Comey has also spoken about the matter, as he is surely someone that can expect a phone call from Durham at some point.
He stated, âI would hope Mr. Durham will do everything possible to protect his reputation from being damaged by those in leadership, and the most important way he can do that is give us transparency.â
A source recently told Fox News âYou do not impanel a grand jury at this point unless you are going to indict.
âDurham is at a point where he knows he has crimes and now the question is how many people were involved and they have a pretty good idea of that group of people and what the charges can be and whether or not they can get some cooperators.â
Barr on the Attack
The attacks against the investigation are also attacks against Durham and his reputation, something Barr seems determined to protect.
Barr continues to tout Durhamâs record, including the fact he has been called on by Democrats prior to conduct investigations, making Schiffâs objections all but mute.
Barr stated, âWeâll let the chips fall where they may.
âI think they all know John Durhamâs reputation and weâll just see how it turns out.â
Indeed they do know his reputation, which is why former Obama staffers are all hitting the panic button.
I just canât help but wonder what happens when Bidenâs name starts to surface and how Democrats will react when their golden boy gets implicated in what amounts to be a political coup.
