Dems Have Filed More Than 800 Bills in 47 States to Expand on Election Day Cheating

More than 800 bills have been filed in 47 states this year containing provisions to expand access to voting that will have serious impact on election integrity and security.

While Republicans have been working to ensure that our elections are secure, giving voters more confidence in the results of future elections, Democrats are trying to make it easier to cheat.

New State Election Laws

Blue states like Virginia are repealing voter identification laws and allowing no-excuse absentee voting, along with many other actions that remove restrictions to voting. Without voter identification laws, the American people will have no confidence that the country’s elections are free and fair. Every illegal vote that slips through thanks to a lack of identification cancels out a legitimate vote. Expanded access to absentee voting also allows for fraud, as it makes it easier for people to steal or alter ballots sent through the mail.

Fortunately, red states have been working hard to combat this fraud. States like Arizona, Iowa, Georgia, and Florida have passed laws strengthening election security, while Ohio and and Texas are currently in the process of passing similar laws.

Left-wing states are also pushing bills to make the illegal expansion of voting due to COVID permanent. This is the same expansion that allowed for significant issues with the 2020 election that have led many to suspect fraud.

Proposed Federal Election Law

Of course, the left is whining about the election security bills being passed in red states, claiming that they are ‘impeding democracy’ and suppressing the vote. Democrats are so desperate that they are currently trying to push through an overhaul of elections at the federal level, blatantly ignoring the Constitution, which gives the states complete authority over their own elections.

The attempted election overhaul, dubbed the “For the People Act of 2021,” involves forcing states to offer no-excuse absentee voting, requiring states to allow for 15 days of early voting, banning voter ID laws, banning witness signature or notarization requirements for absentee ballots, and forcing states to accept absentee ballots received up to 10 days after Election Day. The bill would also allow for same-day voter registration, which will give election officials no time to verify the accuracy of voter registration information or the eligibility of an individual’s vote.

“This legislation would let Washington Democrats dictate the terms of their own reelection races by rewriting all 50 states’ election laws. Popular safeguards, like voter ID, would be neutered. Ludicrous practices, like ballot harvesting, would be mandatory coast-to-coast. Democrats have a narrow majority in the House and a 50-50 Senate, but they want to make themselves the board of elections for every county and state in America?” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stated.

According to former Vice President Mike Pence, Democrats’ federal election bill would also force states to legalize “ballot harvesting—where paid political operatives collect absentee ballots from places such as nursing homes—exposing our most vulnerable voters to coercion and increasing the risk that their ballots will be tampered with.”
