The bombshell “smoking gun” Democrats wanted to secure during Ambassador Sondland’s testimony never really happened.
They thought they had it during Sondland’s opening testimony, but that quickly fell apart during questioning.
At one point, Sondland admitted the ONLY phone call he had with President Trump about what Trump wanted from Ukraine, President Trump told him nothing, no quid pro quo, and for Zelensky to just do the right thing, to do what he ran on.
Rep. Turner Destroys Dems
While that statement hurt Dems, Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) also drew some blood for Donald Trump.
During the five-minute rounds, Turner absolutely shredded Schiff for running outside and holding a press conference after Sondland’s opening testimony.
He also called out CNN for posting a fake news banner based on testimony that if it implicated anyone, it did so for Giuliani, not Trump.
Then came the golden moment when he just blasted the entire narrative…

Still No Evidence
We have hammered the point that Dems still do not have a shred of evidence against Trump, so I will not make you read the same thing over again here.
However, what I will say is Democrats are really pushing certain points during this impeachment as being out of the norm when they are actually fairly common.
For instance, aid is often held up for one reason or another and has been under numerous administrations.
Administrations will also hold up aid for “favors” or “demands,” such as when Joe Biden demanded Ukraine’s prosecutor be fired or he would walk out of the country with the billion-dollar aid check he was supposed to give them.
I could go on and one, but again, I don’t want to waste your time because we have covered this issue ad nauseam.
The time has come for this witch hunt to come to a halt because all Congress is doing right now is wasting OUR time and OUR money simply so it can make a power grab in the White House.
