I think everyone would agree that the testimony given today by Lt. Col. Vindman was a complete disaster for Democrats.
One moment that stands about above all else, though, was when Vindman admitted the business dealings of Hunter Biden were a conflict of interest at the very least.
The Smoking Gun
Joe Biden has consistently stated that nobody ever thought Hunter Biden was doing anything wrong, so he does not believe Hunter Biden did nothing wrong.
We are slowly but surely learning that a considerable amount of government officials did, however, have concerns and they were clearly ignored by the Vice President, who was the point man for Ukraine in addition to the Secretary of State, who also ignored the concerns.
Rep. Stefanik brought this issue up during the hearing today, asking Vindman, “Every witness who has testified and has been asked this has answered yes.
“Do you agree that Hunter Biden, on the board of Burisma, has the potential for the appearance of a conflict of interest?”
Vindman replied, “Certainly, the potential, yes.”
The second witness today, Jennifer Williams, also replied “yes” when asked the same question.
Let’s Hear from Biden
Hunter Biden is now very relevant to this inquiry, but we will never hear from him because Schiff will not allow him to testify.
As Americans, we very much have the right to know if a presidential candidate was wielding his power and influence to help his son.
Vindman did not help Joe Biden’s case when he admitted that in his opinion, Hunter Biden has absolutely no qualifications for his board position with Burisma.
This smells bad from every angle, only Democrats are protecting Biden solely on the basis that Joe Biden is a political opponent of Donald Trump.
Another argument was made today by Ambassador Volker that due to the previous corruption of Burisma, an investigation into the company would not have been out of the norm considering Zelensky’s platform.
Yet still, Democrats refuse to even address this issue and continue cover for Joe Biden and his son.
