When most Americans heard that Trump took out one of Iran’s top military leaders, they celebrated like it was New Year’s Eve.
Democrats, however, chose to take a different approach, with Rep. Ilhan Omar leading the way.
Creating a Distraction
Make no mistake about it… General Soleimani was an enemy to this country and someone that needed to be taken out.
When you have an opportunity like that, you take, it, but that is not exactly how Democrats are seeing this.
Rep. Omar believes Trump is creating a distraction to take the focus away from impeachment, but it sounds more like she is upset that one of her terrorist buddies was just killed.
Omar threatened to take action against Trump via Twitter…

The Quds Force (also referred to as the Qods Force) has been designated a terrorist organization, which makes us really wonder why any Democrat would be upset its leader was taken out.
More Democrat Outrage
Omar was not the only Democrat upset about the attack, either.
Senator Bernie Sanders stated, “Trump’s dangerous escalation brings us closer to another disastrous war in the Middle East that could cost countless lives and trillions more dollars.”
Honestly, Sanders comment is almost comical, considering how much money he wants to spend on illegal immigrants and giveaways for all the freeloaders in this country.
Senator Elizabeth Warren called it a “reckless move” that “escalates the situation with Iran and increases the likelihood of more death and new Middle East conflict.”
Andrew Yang stated, “War with Iran is the last thing we need and is not the will of the American people. We should be acting to deescalate tensions and protect our people in the region.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the attack “risks provoking further dangerous escalation of violence.”
Iran has already announced it planned on carrying out a strike after Trump responded to the attack that took out a U.S. contractor.
This was a pre-emptive strike to deter that from happening and if Iran insists on carrying out another attack, I am sure Trump will respond in kind.
Democrats are trying to blame Trump for the escalation, but that is far from the case here.
Iran poked a bear, and they got bit. If they want to keep poking, I am sure the bear has a few more bites.
Nobody wants a war, but Iran was clearly leaning that way. More than ever, our government representatives need to be on the same page but people like Omar are out there spinning conspiracy theories rather than worrying about protecting our own country.
Trump absolutely and 100 percent did the right thing here, it is just a shame that Democrats are more interested in protecting terrorist generals than they are the people of their own country.
