Yesterday’s House hearings in the Judiciary Committee were a virtual repeat of the House Intelligence hearings, with one or two small exceptions.
One of those moments was when Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) shredded House majority counsel while he was in the chair taking questions from House Judiciary members.
Bizarre Day
The entire day was rather bizarre.
The House Judiciary Committee wanted to hear from the author of the House Intelligence Committee report, but it got House Majority Counsel Daniel Goldman instead.
This did, however, allow Republicans to finally get revenge for the methods used in the House Intelligence hearing.
Goldman constantly led witnesses down a certain path and often testified for them, merely asking them to agree with him.
While Goldman stated he would put this investigation with any he has ever conducted, the entire case would have been kicked out of any courtroom in the United States.
When Gaetz got his turn to fire shots, he wanted to know why two clearly biased attorneys were on the Dems investigative team.
Mr. Barry Berke was in the witness chair, but then for some reason was allowed to sit with the committee and ask questions.
When Republicans challenged this, Chairman Nadler (D.N.Y.) more or less told them to shut up and he was going to do what he wanted (oddly enough, that is exactly what Trump is being impeached for).
Why was Berke allowed to sit as both a witness and with the committee? Well, we are going to get to that in about 30 seconds.
As part of his line of questioning, Gaetz informed everyone that Berke had donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats.
He also hit Goldman with a similar line of questioning, completely obliterating the attorney who was so cocky during the House Intelligence hearings…

Honestly, the more we learn about the Democrat tactics, it becomes virtually impossible to take these hearings seriously.
The entire Democrat team worked on the basis of working backward throughout this entire process, reverse engineering their desired conclusion.
Thankfully, people like Rep. Gaetz are exposing it for all the country to see.
