Earlier this week, it was announced that Michael Bloomberg was going to enter the presidential race.
Leon Cooperman then announced his backing of Bloomberg.
Cooperman is Jewish as well as being a member of the billionaire’s club.
Both of these do not apparently sit well with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn), who sent out a veiled tweet that is being perceived as anti-Semitic…
It took only seconds for the Twitterverse to come after Omar for once again sending out a questionable tweet about Jews.
Michael Dickson, who is the Executive Director of Stand with US, a group dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism, stated, “I suppose you think it’s all about the Benjamins.
“We get your insinuation. True to form.”
Another Twitter user stated, “Omar very carefully making an anti-Semitic tweet with just enough vagueness to claim that ackshually [sic] she meant it was about the benjamins and not about religion.
“But everyone knows what she meant, which is why she continues to do it.”
Israeli-Jewish activist Hen Mazzig stated, “Ilhan Omar doesn’t tweet alone.
“She has a media team who’s [sic] job is to prevent her from saying offensive things.
“Either she can’t find anyone that is knowledgable about Antisemitic dogwhistles, despite Jews begging her to educate herself, or that they know what she says hurts us.”
Even tennis legend Martina Navratilova sent out a tweet calling her out…
The theme to protect Omar from the attacks was rather interesting.
The tweet below is about the norm for that that came to her defense…
The funny thing about that defense is that it is exactly what liberals do to Donald Trump.
They look at every hand gesture and look for individual words and cherry-pick them to associate them with a racist narrative.
The difference here, though, is this is not just a word, but a full statement where her meaning was quite clear and her record proves that she hates Jews.
House Democrats need to stand up and formally discipline Omar and the people of Minnesota must correct the mistake they made in 2018 and vote this woman out of office.
