Nikki Haley Exposes Resistance Within Trump Administration

Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley stunned everyone this weekend when she came forward to take up for Trump and defend him against the impeachment inquiry.

In her new book, “With All Due Respect,” however, she exposes there were several key cabinet members within the administration undermining this president right from the outset.

Some Bad Choices

It would be hard to find anyone that would not admit the first year of the Trump administration was a lot of trial and error.

Trump made some cabinet appointments on his own that were mistakes and he took some advice from people on other appointments by people that did not have his best interests at hand.

Two of the people that fall into these categories were among those outed by Nikki Haley.

Those two individuals were Rex Tillerson and General Kelly.

In her book, Haley stated, “Kelly and Tillerson confided in me that when they resisted the President, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country.”

Haley, for her part, completely disagreed with this movement to undermine Trump.

She stated, “It should have been, go tell the President what your differences are and quit if you don’t like what he’s doing.

“To undermine a President is really a very dangerous thing.

“And it goes against the Constitution and it goes against what the American people want. It was offensive.”

From the Beginning…

The problem for Trump, and this has been made very clear over the last few months, is that there have always been insiders fighting against this President from within.

Remember the big op-ed in 2018 from a member of the internal resistance?

Well, that individual now has a book coming out in a week or so under Anonymous.

John Bolton has also been given a book deal and the early rumors are that it is going to be another blistering attack against Trump.

These are people that did not like Trump’s out-of-the-box approach to running the White House.

Now, you can call his methods extreme or even insane if you want to, but when Trump has been left to get at it, his methods have worked.

Furthermore, and more importantly, Trump was elected by We the People to represent us, not Kelly, not Tillerson, or anyone else that has been working against Trump.

Sadly, the undermining from within continues to this day as the establishment, even within the Republican Party, continues to obstruct this president from doing his job.
