Mysterious Deaths Within Versace Mansion

The Versace Mansion has become legendary for being the home of Gianni Versace, but it also has had many untimely deaths.

The latest one occurred last July when two bodies were discovered at the South Florida hotel that used to be known as Miami’s Versace mansion. Miami Beach police were called to the scene after housekeepers at the Villa Casa Casuarina found two dead men in the room. Luckily, they contained the scene to the room and police detectives have launched a full investigation.

The deaths of these men came around the 24th anniversary of the fatal shooting of fashion designer Gianni Versace, who was returning home on July 15, 1997 from the News Cafe when he was brutally shot in the head as he began to climb the stars to his home.

One of the main reasons why this landmark is now so well-known is due to the fact that serial killer Andrew Cunanan is the one who did Versace in. Cunanan would eventually kill himself on a houseboat eight days after shooting Versace.

The iconic Casa Casuarina was built in 1930 and Gianni Versace purchased it in 1992. This property has operated as a high-end hotel since 2015.

The two men who died last July in the former Gianni Versace mansion were involved in an apparent double-suicide at this swanky Miami Beach hotel, officials said.

The two bodies were discovered by a housekeeper when she went to clean their hotel rooms.

The Independent periodical originally reported on the bodies being found at the Villa Casa Casuarino.

Even though it’s been 24 years since Gianni Versace passed away, his legacy in the fashion industry lives on. There are many celebrities who continue to showcase his stunning gowns and still many more who got to know the man personally. One individual in particular who has always enjoyed his designs would be Demi Moore. She recently appeared at a gala in a stunning lilac gown that was one of his trademarks.
