The propaganda mill run by the mainstream network media is working overtime these days. President Trump is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. The MSM distraction, over a “bounty” offered on the heads of American soldiers, turned out to be not nearly as brawny as they want you to think. Actually, it’s nothing but a shredded soggy mess of rumors.
Only rumors of a bounty
President Donald Trump insists that “there was no credible information” for his intelligence officials to bother him with. Rumors that Russian spies offered to pay a bounty to “Taliban militants who killed American soldiers” weren’t substantiated.
Three Deep State rats who claim they were “briefed on the matter” scurried over to NBC where they blabbed that “the United States had gathered intelligence that Russian intelligence officers had offered to pay the bounties.” NBC News admitted they knew the real score even before they ran the story, noting they had “not confirmed that the U.S. verified that any such bounty payments were made.” Fake news at it’s finest.
Another rodent told the left-leaning New York Times “that the assessment was based in part on interviews with Afghan detainees.” Sure, that would be credible. NBC points out, “that alone would not prove the case” that a bounty was ever really offered.
Nobody briefed or told me, @VP Pence, or Chief of Staff @MarkMeadows about the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan by Russians, as reported through an “anonymous source” by the Fake News @nytimes. Everybody is denying it & there have not been many attacks on us…..

Beating the dead Russian horse
The media can’t help beating that dead Russian horse though, speculating that “the U.S. would almost certainly have tried to get communications intercepts from the Russians that shed light. In the past, the National Security Agency has had success penetrating Russia’s military intelligence unit, the GRU.” According to the spooks at the NSA, they did. There was no bounty.
President Trump took to Twitter, confirming that nobody told him about any bounty for a very good reason. They didn’t tell, Vice President Mike Pence or White House chief of staff Mark Meadows about the intelligence either. He Also dared the Times to “reveal” who the rats were.
“Nobody briefed or told me, @VP Pence, or Chief of Staff @MarkMeadows about the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan by Russians, as reported through an ‘anonymous source’ by the Fake News @nytimes,” Trump tweeted.
“Everybody is denying it & there have not been many attacks on us. Nobody’s been tougher on Russia than the Trump Administration. With Corrupt Joe Biden & Obama, Russia had a field day, taking over important parts of Ukraine – Where’s Hunter? Probably just another phony Times hit job, just like their failed Russia Hoax. Who is their ‘source’?” he added. Which rats said the Russians were paying a bounty?
White House makes an exception
Kayleigh McEnany issued a statement on Saturday confirming that the president and other top officials were not “briefed on the alleged Russian bounty intelligence.” The White House usually doesn’t talk about these things but they’re making an exception.
“While the White House does not routinely comment on alleged intelligence or internal deliberations, the CIA Director, National Security Advisor, and the Chief of Staff can all confirm that neither the President nor the Vice President were briefed on the alleged Russian bounty intelligence.”
She’s not denying that intelligence about a bounty offer exists, only that the president was briefed on it. “This does not speak to the merit of the alleged intelligence but to the inaccuracy of the New York Times story erroneously suggesting that President Trump was briefed on this matter.”
Bounty scandal ‘as bad as it gets’
To Nancy Pelosi, “this is as bad as it gets.” She walks over piles of human crap on the sidewalks of her district without batting an eye but gets upset that “the president will not confront the Russians on this score.” He “denies being briefed.” She doesn’t care that all the people who would have briefed the president if there were a bounty confirm they didn’t brief him because they weren’t about to waste his time with baseless rumors.
Pelosi also doesn’t care if he was even briefed or not, because “some of our allies who work with us in Afghanistan” heard the rumors about a bounty and believe them. She’s as bad as Jerrold Nadler. The two of them keep hallucinating that they see Russians in every corner.
They think if they ignore all the freshly released evidence which proves the whole Russia collusion conspiracy plot was an attempt by Democrats to overthrow the White House, it will go away. “Just as I have said to the president,” Pelosi whined, “with him all roads lead to Putin. I don’t know what the Russians have on the president, politically, personally, financially, or whatever it is.” Yes, you do Nancy, you know they have nothing. You just won’t accept that fact. That’s why she gets the big bucks, she doesn’t “know” what they have, because there’s nothing to know. There is no bounty.
Dmitry Peskov, the Russian ambassador to Washington, chose his words carefully when responding to the controversial allegations. “You know, maybe I can say it’s a little bit rude but this is 100 percent bullsh!t. It’s an undiplomatic thing, but it’s bullsh!t.” The spokesman for Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin insists the story is nothing but “fake news.” Even the Taliban calls the bounty claims “baseless.”
