Over the last few weeks, the Royals have been all over the news as much as Donald Trump.
At the center of the latest controversy are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanting out of the Royal family.
Now, a close friend of Markle’s has finally revealed exactly why Meghan wants out.
Suffocating
Markle has been a bit of a problem for the Royals ever since Harry became smitten with her.
She is an American, she is mixed race, and she is divorced… all no-nos according to the royal spouse guidelines.
To say that Markle’s reception by the Royal’s has been cold would be just a bit of an understatement.
Everyone thought things would change for the better once her son Archie was born, but it has only made matters worse.
An unnamed source close to Markle told the Daily Mail that Markle “told her inner circle of friends that her soul was being crushed and that the decision to leave was a matter of life or death – meaning the death of her spirit.
“She also felt like she couldn’t be the best mother to Archie if she wasn’t being her true, authentic self. Something she felt she couldn’t be in the royal family confines.
“She said she didn’t want Archie picking up on her stress and anxiety.
“She felt like it was a toxic environment for him because there was too much tension and pent-up frustrations.”
Big Changes Coming
While the Queen has agreed to release Harry and Markle from their Royal duties, this also means they lose the bounty that comes with it.
Markle is no stranger to working, but poor Harry is going to have to get his hands dirty for the first time in his life.
There is also now the question as to where the couple is going to live.
Markle is on record saying she wants to come back to LA but will only do so once Trump is no longer president (then stay away, as far as we are concerned).
There were also rumors the couple was looking in Canada, but social media has been blowing up with Canadians telling the ousted Royals they are not wanted.
Imagine that… once you come down off that pretentious throne, you find out you are not all that special after all.
