This week, Tennessee was ravaged by tornadoes the likes we have not seen in this country in quite some time.
Trump flew out on Friday to see the damage for himself as well as having already made a major disaster declaration for the state to help speed up recovery efforts.
The Tornadoes
The state had been hit in several areas but Putnam County was hit the hardest.
At last report, at least two dozen people were dead, 18 of them from Putnam County.
Included in that number were five young children.
Mayor Randy Porter stated, “It hit so fast, a lot of folks didn’t have time to take shelter.
“Many of those folks were sleeping.”
Trump’s Visit
On Friday, Trump flew out to see the destruction first hand and he was obviously taken aback by it all.
After complimenting the governor on the job he has done so far, Trump stated, “This is real devastation like you will never see hopefully again.
“This was about as big a tornado as you can have.
“It was 50 miles long, which is extraordinarily long, and a very wide one, and you see what has happened.
“We saw it from the helicopter very well.”
Of course, most liberals seemed to be focused more on the fact Trump was wearing a red “Keep America Great” hat on.
For instance, Buzz Feed’s David Mack tweeted…

That was far from the only one, though…
He has no empathy or compassion. Why even bring him to Disaster areas? 😝🤷♀️

Trump wearing a Keep America Great hat with destruction behind him is spot on.

It really doesn’t matter what this man does, the left is going to attack him for it.
