Leaked Audio Reveals Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg’s Fear Of Elizabeth Warren

The leaked audio gives an insight into the billionaires mind set and his thinking, which is very rare. The CEO and founder of Facebook, tends to display a poker face for the most part, making him a very furtive creature.

The leaked audio obtained by ‘The Verge‘ was from a July meeting between Zuckerberg and some Facebook employees. Regarding the possible election of Elizabeth Warren, Zuckerberg said

“You have someone like Elizabeth Warren Who thinks that the right answer is to break up companies. I mean if she gets elected President, then I bet there will be a legal challenge. And I would bet that we would win the legal challenge.

Zuckerberg went on,

“And does that stick well with us? Yeah. I mean, I don’t want to have a lawsuit against our own government. I mean that’s not the position that you ever want to be in”.

Zuckerberg told his employees that the end goal, is to work with the government regardless of who is in office.

Zuckerberg Claims He Will Work With Anyone In Office As Long As It Benefits Facebook

He added, “but look at the end of the day, if someone is going to try to threaten something that existential, you go the mat and you fight”. Zuckerberg was in D.C. Last month to meet with President Trump and other lawmakers.

During last month’s visit to the Capital, the Harvard dropout said that due to Facebook’s size they have been able to fend off election interference. However they had their fair sure of issues during the 2016 election. Zuckerberg, said Twitter did a horrible job at keeping election interference off of their platform.

At the time Zuckerberg said,

“It’s why Twitter can’t do as good of a job as we can. I mean they face qualitatively the same type of issue. But they can’t put in the investment. Our investment on safety is bigger than the whole revenue of their company”

Warren Responded Immediately To Zuckerberg’s Leaked Comments About Her

It didn’t take long for Donald Trump’s biggest nemesis to respond to Zuckerberg’s comments about her. The former attorney said, “What would really ‘suck’ is if we don’t fix a corrupt system.

“The system that lets giant companies like Facebook engage in illegal anti-competitive practices, stomp on consumer privacy rights, and repeatedly fumble their responsibility to protect our privacy”

A spokesperson for Facebook said that meetings last month in D.C. were very productive and positive. The meeting’s objective was for Zuckerberg to have a face to face with lawmakers about future internet regulations.

President Trump took advantage of the meeting with Zuckerberg, with Tweeting out a picture of the two shaking hands. In March Senator Warren said that she plans on putting forth an initiative to break up the largest companies in the country.

Those companies mainly being Facebook, Amazon, Google and Apple. She believes, ‘the amount of power these companies have is just too great and poses dangerous problems she said’.
