It is pretty ironic how anyone remotely associated with helping Trump or as being a part of his insider club finds him or herself facing allegations.
That is exactly what is now happening to Ambassador Sondland.
Earlier this week, three women came forward to say that Sondland sexually harassed them and took retaliatory measures against them after they rejected Sondland’s advancements.
So Predictable
Now, I have no idea if the allegations have any merit or not, but I do know they are predictable.
When Sondland was tagged as the witness that was going to destroy Trump, we never heard a peep from anyone about his conduct.
Now that Sondlandâs testimony has been somewhat of a disaster for the Democrat impeachment effort, however, suddenly these allegations come flying out of left field.
Sondland, for his part, has completely denied the allegations.
He has called them âfundamentally falseâ and that they were launched specifically âto influence congressional proceedings.â
The statement further said that âAmbassador Sondland refutes the allegations entirely and intends to bring a lawsuit against those publications, their management, and others involved as swiftly as possible.â
Proving My Point
One of the allegations made against Sondland was done so by Nicole Vogel.
Vogel claims that Sondland tried to kiss and hug her against her wishes.
Vogel, according to Sondland, is “a frequent Democratic party donor and close associate of Rep. Earl Blumenauer, [D-Ore.] who has spent many weeks maligning Amb. Sondland and threatening his company.â
Some of the other allegations go back more than 15 years, none of which we heard about during Sondlandâs confirmation process.
I have little doubt, had Gordon testified that Trump told him he wanted a âquid pro quoâ directly, none of these allegations would have ever been made.
Sondland was the one person Democrats had that actually talked directly to Trump, but the only thing Trump ever told him was that he did NOT want anything from Ukraine for the country to get its aid and White House meeting.
This was the same tactic Democrats used against Justice Kavanaugh during his confirmation process.
It is as though Dems have a storage room filled with nothing but women willing to drop a #MeToo allegation against anyone that will help Trump defeat their impeachment efforts.
