George Conway, husband to Kellyanne Conway, has officially taken his obsession with Trump to an unprecedented level.
In a recent New York Times op-ed, George Conway announced he is establishing the Lincoln Project with his fellow anti-Trump Republicans to defeat “President Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box…”
Thorn in the Side
There was a time when George Conway actually supported Trump.
That, however, did not last long and since that moment, he has been one of the biggest thorns in Trump’s side.
It was as though George Conway knew the only way he would get his 15 minutes was by being the husband of a top adviser to the president that fought against that very presidency.
The attacks by George have been something Kellyanne has had to answer for in the media quite often, but it is not a topic she discusses very willingly.
That, however, will have to change with the launching of the Lincoln Project.
The White House, and this includes Kellyanne Conway, is going to have to fight any allegation made by the Lincoln Project with a ferociousness, and Kellyanne will be expected to be on the front line.
The Lincoln Project
This new organization is a dangerous one in that its only purpose is to block Trump from becoming president again.
The organization is not putting forth a different candidate for conservatives, just the sole purpose of ensuring Trump does not get re-elected.
One line from the announcement particularly caught my attention…
“Our many policy differences with national Democrats remain, but our shared fidelity to the Constitution dictates a common effort.”
I would have to ask, what if their efforts result in someone like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren being elected?
Both of these candidates would love to put the Constitution in the shredder, so I would have to ask what “fidelity to the Constitution” do these candidates offer?
I would also have to ask who these people think they are to simply dismiss the will of half the citizens of this country?
Conway is partaking in what could be referenced to Nazi-like propaganda tactics to thwart the will of We the People.
To this point, Conway was a nuisance, but that has clearly changed.
