Justice Ginsburg Rushed to Hospital

The most polarizing Supreme Court Justice of our time appears to be having some health problems again.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was taken to Sibley Memorial in D.C. Friday night, but she was later transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD for treatment.

Is It Serious?

That is always the question with Ginsburg simply because of her age.

The woman has had four bouts with cancer, has fallen several times, and now this.

Any medical issue at this age can be life-threatening, but especially for someone whose system has been beaten down over the years.

Honestly, when I saw the initial headline that she had gone into the hospital for the treatment of “chills and fever,” I didn’t think it was that big of a deal.

It would make sense with Ginsburg’s history and age to play it safe and go to the hospital.

However, what raised an eyebrow for me is the fact that she was taken from the local hospital and sent to Johns Hopkins.

If this were just normal “chills and fever,” she could be treated at any hospital in the country, so why the need to transfer her to one of the most respected medical institutions in the entire country?

Recent Concerns

Ginsburg’s recent fall revealed that the Justice needed to have surgery for lung cancer.

While her recovery went well, Ginsburg has been under the weather more recently.

Ginsburg missed a day of work on November 13 when she was not present for arguments for what was described as a “stomach bug.”

She was, however, back in court on November 18.

Ginsburg’s office is saying that she should be okay, stating, “With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms abated and she expects to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning.”

I may not be a fan of Ginsburg, but I certainly wish her no ill will, and, hopefully, this truly is precautionary and she will be back on the bench soon.

  1. She survived pancreas cancer twice, this is highly unusual, it’s a sign Ruth, retire and live out the rest of your days in peace.

    • Michael – What an awful insensitive thing to write. I am not a fan of RBG. but I respect her as a Judge of the highest court in the land. I do not agree with her rulings most of the time; however, I certainly do not wish her ill will. SHAME ON YOU.

  2. They’re just keeping the corpse alive for their own evil actions and feeding her with the evil and drugs. Let the woman retire and live peacefully.

  3. The Radical Lefty-Dems & their FakeNews Partners will never let Ginsburg retire until she’s in a Box 6ft under, and then they still will raise HELL for her Dying and giving President Trump another Supreme Court Pick, it’s a sick bunch of Radicals Ginsburg choose to join!
OH and nice comments to Mike and Cynthia

  4. I wonder if she ever stops to think that maybe it’s God’s way of telling her to Retire & let it go, before she spends the rest of whatever time she has left bailing water from a sinking ship ? Let it go, Ruth…Go relax & enjoy the time you’ve got left………

  5. Such a fighter RBG, shes fighting every day just to stay alive, not able to focus on the laws she is to rule on, this is unfair to America to be sickly and cling to an office of great importance that requires sound minds and healthy individuals to perform at their best. there should be an age limit/sick policy age limit 70, sick policy, if you miss more than 3 arguments in court not working from home which lacks interface with peers. Wish her well.
