Some people saw the Harvey Weinstein verdict yesterday and considered it a win.
I was not among them, nor was Fox News’ Judge Napolitano, who called it a “monumental setback.”

And now, Harvey Weinstein, staring down dozens of accusations of rape and physical assault is only found guilty of third-degree rape and a criminal sexual act, avoiding charges of first-degree rape and predatory sexual assault, the charges with the biggest sentences.
Napolitano stated, “He’s still facing serious time, but these are not the life sentences, the big ones the government wanted.”
He later added, “They apparently failed, but they may have another shot at it.”
By “they,” Napolitano was referring to California prosecutors because Weinstein is facing multiple charges there as well.
The Liberal Horde
The really sad thing about the Weinstein trial is that too many women waited too long to come forward about their assaults.
Weinstein has been doing this for decades, yet everyone was too afraid to call him out for it for fear of losing their careers.
This was no secret, by the way, as the casting couch of Hollywood has been legendary since I was a kid, but it was just accepted by the very liberals who are outraged by Donald Trump.
This also happens to be the same man many powerful D.C. elites have celebrated, including Michelle Obama, who once called Weinstein a “wonderful person.”
Harvey Weinstein is scum and he should never see the light of day again.
Hopefully, as Judge Napolitano hinted, California will get it right and ensure the only way Weinstein gets out of jail is in a box.
