The irony of today’s political world never ceases to amaze me.
While President Trump is being impeached for obstructing Congress, Joe Biden is being applauded for saying he will obstruct the Senate if called to testify.
Won’t Show Up
When asked if he would honor a Senate subpoena to answer questions about his time as VP and his son Biden’s business dealings, Joe Biden stated, “No, I will not yield to what everybody is looking for here.
“And that is to take the eye off the ball.”
That may be Joe Biden’s assessment, but that is hardly the case here.
If Joe Biden is corrupt, as a future possible president, the American people have a right to know about it.
Instead, both Joe Biden and the Democrat Congress continue to hide his misdoings under the protection of Joe Biden being a presidential candidate.
Whatever happened to “nobody is above the law?”
Good for the Goose
If the media is going to slam Trump for not adhering to congressional subpoenas, subpoenas that are all now in the courts, how can they not go after Biden for the same?
To this point, every subpoena that has played out in the courts to exhaustive measures, when the administration has lost, it has complied with the court’s decision.
That is how this system is supposed to play out.
Congress has impeached Trump for obstruction without allowing the court cases to play out.
This is, in fact, a blatant abuse of power, the second charge Democrats are impeaching Trump for.
By that standard, Joe Biden must be held to the same, meaning Congress should already be hammering him over this claim to not show up if killed before the Senate.
Instead, the man is being applauded as a hero, which tells you everything you need to know about both the media and the integrity of the current Democrat members of Congress voting in favor of this impeachment.
