Friends star Jennifer Aniston has joined the long list of Democrat celebrities who actually think that the American people care about their opinions.
In a recent social media post, Aniston announced that she has cut “a few people” out of her life after they chose not to get vaccinated, or because they refused to broadcast their vaccine status.
Many on the left have been making similar comments, bragging about telling their friends and family members that unless they acquiesce to their demands and agree to take an experimental vaccine, they lose the ‘privilege’ of being in their lives.
“There’s still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts. It’s a real shame. I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate,” Aniston said, adding: “I feel it’s your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we’re not all podded up and being tested every single day. It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.”
The Friends star received some backlash on social media for her comment, though most of it was rather respectful.
“But if she’s vaccinated she’s protected correct? Why be worried about unvaxxed around her?” one person wrote.
In another post, Aniston responded to the criticism she received, writing:
“Because if you have the variant, you are still able to give it to me. I may get slightly sick but I will not be admitted to a hospital or die. BUT I CAN give it to someone else who does not have the vaccine and whose health is compromised (or has a previous existing condition) — and therefore I would put their lives at risk. THAT is why I worry. We have to care about more than just ourselves here.”
As a Democrat, Jennifer Aniston is repeating the party line exactly as she is expected to, but like many others, she is ignoring a key fact that is inconvenient to the narrative: recent reports have shown that, if infected, vaccinated people carry the same amount of COVID as unvaccinated people and can still transmit the virus. If Aniston is truly worried about being around unvaccinated people because she could put someone with a “previous existing condition” or “whose health is compromised” at risk, she should also be concerned about other vaccinated people.
