President Trump has more or less been involved in an impeachment from the moment he won the Republican nomination.

One would think the pressure of representing We the People and fending off the relentless attack by Democrats would have taken a toll on Trump.

That, however, according to Ivanka Trump, is not the case.

Getting Energized

Rather than letting the impeachment get to him, the First Daughter says the President has been using it to feed off.

During a recent interview, Ivanka stated that her father is “energized” from the impeachment, as are “his 63 million-plus voters.”

According to Ivanka, immediately after the impeachment vote took place, “He said it didn’t even feel like he was being impeached.

“It’s pretty unprecedented that support for impeachment has decreased over time as more information was presented to the American people.

“It’s decreased, not increased.

“So, with all of this time spent, with all of these witnesses who didn’t have firsthand knowledge, with all of these people that have been paraded in front of the American people, support for this action has decreased.

“So, you know, I think he sees it for what it is, which is really just raw partisan politics.”

Declining Numbers

The lack of support for impeachment Ivanka spoke of is rather astonishing.

From the outset, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated she would want to see public and bipartisan support before moving forward.

Her reasoning was that an impeachment can be very divisive and unless the circumstances were ideal, they would not move forward.

Well, Pelosi has neither public nor bipartisan support, yet she still went ahead.

So, this is either a partisan attack for power or Democrats are purposely trying to create more divide in this country.

Either way, they clearly are not listening to We the People and are only serving their own hubris by continuing to push this process forward.
