ISIS’ Morbid Christmas ‘Celebration’ Was Revenge for al-Baghdadi Death

ISIS

ISIS finally got its revenge for the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

On Thursday, ISIS released a video of the beheading of 10 Christian men in Nigeria (an 11th man was shot in the head).

Disturbing Celebration

The video released was less than a minute, but every second of it is horrific.

It showed 11 men lined up with hooded their captors behind them.

The man in the middle gets shot in the head while the  captors push the remaining 10 men to the ground and behead them.

ISIS did not release much information about the men other than to say the victims were all male and Christians.

The men were allegedly “captured in the past weeks” by ISIS in Nigeria.

While the video did not have sound, it was captioned.

The terrorist group stated, “We killed them as revenge for the killing of our leaders, including Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and (ISIS spokesman) Abul-Hasan al-Muhaiir.”

ISIS Rising

The activity is concerning for the obvious reason as well as the fear of growing activity of ISIS in Africa.

While the terrorist group has been pushed out of many middle eastern areas, the terrorists have fled and are now apparently setting up in Africa without much resistance.

Co-founder of Jihadoscope, Raphael Gluck, stated, “We saw a terrible ambush of U.S. forces in Niger in 2017, that played into propaganda for months and really put Africa in focus, it has only grown in strength since.”

If Gluck is right, and this recent activity makes it more likely that he is, something has to be done immediately to cut the head off this snake.

Everyone’s greatest fear is that ISIS would regroup and come back even stronger if we relented our attacks and that time may be coming much sooner than even we thought.

ISIS may have been defeated in areas of the middle east, but they are clearly thriving in other parts of the world.
