IG Report Proves Schiff 2018 Memo Rebutting Nunes Was PACKED with Lies

Adam Schiff

In 2018, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) introduced a memo showing a blatant abuse of FISA warrants by the FBI.

At the time, he was literally laughed at by Democrats and the mainstream media.

The IG report released on Monday now vindicates Nunes and proves the response that was issued by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was packed with nothing but lies.

Lie #1

Republicans contended that an unverified dossier was used as the central point of the FISA warrants issued against Carter Page, a Trump adviser.

Schiff contended the Department of Justice “made only narrow use of information from Steele’s sources about Page’s specific activities in 2016”

The IG report stated that the Steele dossier played a significant role in the information used to support the FISA warrant application.

Lie #2

Republicans stated that significant exculpatory information was omitted from the FISA warrant application.

Schiff maintained no information had been omitted from the application.

The IG report showed 17 omissions and/or errors in the FISA warrant applications.

Lie #3

Republicans stated that little, if any, of the claims in the Steele dossier had been verified.

Schiff stated that the FBI had used a “vigorous process” to vet the allegations made by Steele in his dossier.

The IG reported specifically stated that the information in the dossier was not able to be corroborated by the FBI.

Problems for Schiff

Unfortunately, members of Congress are unable to be impeached, but that is Schiff’s only saving grace.

This is not conspiracy and this is not opinion… Schiff has proven to have lied to both Congress and the American people in his memo to dismiss the allegations made by Nunes.

Below, you will see both memos documenting the claims by both parties:

These were not small lies, but a concentrated effort to cover up either a coup or the sloppy work of the FBI in the case.

Based on Schiff’s role in this impeachment, I would tend to lean more towards the coup angle.

Stay tuned for more, because we are going after James Comey next.
