The left-wing media is going to have to report a story very soon that is going to sicken them.
A report broke late last night that one of the attorneys that worked for the FBI during the early stages of the FBI’s collusion investigation significantly altered a document related to the surveillance application to spy on Trump’s campaign.
It’s in Durham’s Hands Now
The attorney reportedly no longer works for the FBI, but the reports stated the individual openly confessed to altering the document.
The individual’s name has been turned over to U.S. Attorney Durham, who is running a secondary investigation for Attorney General Barr.
That investigation has turned into a criminal matter and this may be one of the reasons why.
The document in question was to secure warrants for the surveillance on former Trump aide, Carter Page.
Just the Beginning
While the alteration that took place is not yet known, it is believed to have significantly changed the meaning of the document.
However, the report also stated that the changes did not negate the legal basis for the FISA application.
During the course of the IG investigation, several witnesses reportedly told the IG they expect mistakes to be found in the investigation, but they do not believe the legality of anything will be jeopardized.
The full report by Horowitz has not yet been released, but it is expected to be released to the public on December 9.
Durham, however, has already seen the report and acted in kind during his origins probe.
This news could not have come at a worse time for Democrats who are still reeling from the public pushback on the impeachment hearings that failed to move the needle one way or the other.
