The administration that never had a scandal just got hit with a doozy.
Charles Edwards, who served as Obama’s Acting Department of Homeland Security Inspector General, just got indicted.
Corrupt Officials
Edwards served as Obama’s acting IG for the DHS from 2011 to 2013.
His duties in that role were to root out government corruption, waste, fraud, and abuse.
As it turns out, Edwards was the one trying to steal government secrets.
Along with this former assistant, Murali Yamazula Venkata, Edwards has been charged with conspiracy to commit theft of government property, theft of government property, wire fraud, and aggravated identity theft.
Additionally, Venkata has been charged with destroying records.
The report on Justice.Gov stated:
“According to the allegations in the indictment, from October 2014 to April 2017, Edwards, Venkata, and others executed a scheme to defraud the U.S. government by stealing confidential and proprietary software from DHS Office of Inspector General (OIG), along with sensitive government databases containing personal identifying information (PII) of DHS and USPS employees, so that Edwards’s company, Delta Business Solutions, could later sell an enhanced version of DHS-OIG’s software to the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Agriculture at a profit. Although Edwards had left DHS-OIG in December 2013, he continued to leverage his relationship with Venkata and other DHS-OIG employees to steal the software and the sensitive government databases.
“The indictment further alleges that, in addition to stealing DHS-OIG’s software and the sensitive government databases, Venkata and others also assisted Edwards by reconfiguring his laptop so that he could properly upload the stolen software and databases, provided troubleshooting support whenever Edwards required it, and helped him build a testing server at his residence with the stolen software and databases, which contained PII. As further part of the alleged scheme, Edwards retained software developers in India for the purpose of developing his commercial alternative of DHS-OIG’s software.
“The indictment is the result of an ongoing investigation by DHS-OIG and USPS-OIG and is being prosecuted by Trial Attorney Victor R. Salgado of the Criminal Division’s Public Integrity Section and Assistant U.S. Attorney David B. Kent of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.”
So, immediately after leaving the administration, Edwards appeared to have exploited his contacts within the agency to defraud the United States government, as this scheme went on immediately after he left the Obama administration.
Will This Hurt Joe?
Joe Biden has become very fond of saying his administration never had a whisper of a scandal.
Well, I would say a former official trying to steal government property and using it to steal identities is a pretty big scandal.
How could this have possibly gone on for more than two years in the administration unrecognized?
This may be one of those questions we need to take to Biden personally because we know the mainstream media will never touch him on it.
But, based on how Joe is doing these days, he may not ever remember who Edwards is.
Obamas & Clintons need to be indicted for GITMO with the rest of the terrorists & a cheap rope !

This must be brought to the attention of the world wide media, show Obama for what he was and allowed to happen. This is the tip of several scandals no one want’s to admit that happened, so one can guess how many more are still uncovered?
Will it hurt Biden? Wait till Brennan gets his day before a Judge as that is coming also + McCabe!.

Let’s face it, Obama has more in store for the corruption of his administration and the weaponizing of every department under his leadership. It’s probably known that he was a hands on president although he was very private how he went about it. One thing is plain, he actually turned every leader that took over the FBI, CIA, DHS, EPA, you name it and they turned into Obama disciples of crime, thrust to attack President Trump and the new administration. The American people are patiently waiting to see justice served on the Obama crime spree. This maybe the first indictment but indeed it will not be the last. The floodgates are about to be open and people like Comey, Brennan, McCabe and many more players are bound to be caught up in the flood.
Amazing, we the people are finally seeing some justice when it comes concerning the popular liberal leader (Obama). He sure fooled many well being folks who wanted a savior in lieu of our lord. The devil in sheep skin.
He even fooled his own race and they fell for it all the time he was putting extra moneys in the race mongers pockets and giving nothing to enhance the minority. The only real supporters he really had were hoodlums, others were just people being fooled and grossly mislead by the race mongers.
Let me know if, and when he’s behind bars. For that matter, let me know if anyone goes to jail.

Besides the voluminous number of cases, a hope I have as to why it’s taking so long to issue indictments is perhaps because there has been no plea bargaining entertained by prosecutors…
ie; don’t negotiate with traitors.
It’s pretty clear from the evidence I’ve examined (released documents) that there was a lot of corruption in the Obama administration and that it went straight to the top. All over the world, elites in society and government get away with murder (both literally and figuratively). So, my position on Obama and the Clintons being arrested and charged is: I’ll believe it when I see it.
I know I’m not the only one who’s felt discouraged, at times, by Obama and the Clintons not being arrested/indicted as of yet. But, the more time goes on, the more clear it is that Trump is being very methodical and patient (like a chess player) in this all.
By starting at the bottom (relatively speaking), the resistance is less. Many people might not even know who these officials are. But, for every one of them arrested/indicted, it gives that much more legitimacy to higher-level arrests when they happen.
The other thing is, by doing this one at a time, somewhat slowly, people can more easily absorb what’s going on and understand what actually happened. This whole thing was extremely complicated and messy. Doing it slowly ensures that people can learn the details and understand the magnitude of it. This is even more important now, given a lot of areas are opening the economy, meaning that more people are going to start getting busy with work again.
The ‘slow burn’ approach also has the effect of leaving those higher-ups who are guilty, wondering and worrying, this entire time. For those who committed treason, a healthy dose of anxiety is nothing less than karma.
