A federal judge has now jumped on the bandwagon to help the Democrats to continue their evil ways and to contribute to an American dystopia.
This is because the federal judge has now temporarily blocked Texas’s near-total ban on abortions, and it granted the Justice Department an emergency request to halt the laws while the courts are considering whether it is legal or not.
In his ruling, the ultra-liberal activist judge Robert Pitman slammed what he called the “unconstitutionality” of the Texas abortion ban, writing that “his court will not sanction one more day of this offensive deprivation of such an important right.”
“When Judge Robert Pitman ruled, he said what advocates in Texas have been saying all along,” abortion advocate Amy Littlefield said. “A near-total ban on abortion in the state of Texas is flagrantly unconstitutional.” Littlefield currently works as an abortion access correspondent for the liberal rag The Nation.
Of course, the Texas legislation that all but bans abortions is better known as Senate Bill 8, and it stipulated that no abortions would be allowed after cardiac activity in the fetus can be detected, which is usually at five to seven weeks of pregnancy.
This is only about one to three weeks after a missed period, and many clinics were still performing abortions before this date even though it was a bit trickier. However, Planned Parenthood of South Texas actually stopped doing abortions completely because they were afraid of being sued.
Now that there is an injunction in place, abortion providers could perform as many abortions as they deem fit.
However, even with this injunction, there is still a provision where they could be sued retroactively for any abortions that they perform while the injunction is in place. Thus, many providers are still a bit too skittish to perform them even though this judge is doing everything he can to enable Democrats along on their evil ways.
