Dems Channel Their Inner Child, Throw Massive Temper Tantrum in One of the Most Unethical Displays of Worthlessness

The only way that Dems in the state of Texas could keep a law from validly passing, after the full process had been completed properly, was to throw a temper tantrum and walk out. Over Memorial Day Weekend, alleged lawmakers proved exactly how worthless liberals are.

Dems throw a snit and walk

When Texas Dems realized by late Sunday night that they had been politically beaten to a pulp and there was no legitimate way to stop stricter election integrity laws from passing, they exercised their “nuclear option,” threw a snit fit, and walked out the door.

They thumbed their nose at the rule of law and their constituents at the same time but the dramatically childish temper tantrum worked. Republicans have no choice but walk away with the legislative session “essentially over.”

This shows how desperate the Dems have become. It’s being described as “one of Democrats’ biggest protests to date” in the nationwide effort to oppose conservative calls for stricter election laws. The liberals are hoping their protest walkout will catch the attention of Imperial Leader Joe Biden and get him to “act on voting rights.”

They hope he can wave his ball point scepter and make all their dreams come true. At least, they hope the palace can end their nightmares. The Governor tells them, “keep screaming.”

Just because the Dems are getting sneaky doesn’t mean there isn’t another solution to the problem. The session may be officially over but Governor Greg Abbott can call them back to work for a special session.

One way or another, progressives are going to have to face the music. Abbott called the sneaky Democrat move “deeply disappointing” but hasn’t yet indicated when “he would drag lawmakers back to work.”

That’s not participating

Even the Dems are questioning the wisdom of the move. “We’ve said for so many years that we want more people to participate in our democracy. And it just seems that’s not the case,” liberal lawmaker Carl Sherman laments.

The rats were already jumping ship before Democratic House leader Chris Turner texted members to leave the chamber at 10:35 p.m., several having already gone AWOL.

Dems begged and pleaded with His Wisdom to do something to save them. We “needed to send a message, and that message is very, very clear. Mr. President, we need a national response to federal voting rights.”

Republicans are taking it calmly. If that’s the way they want it, so be it. “I am disappointed that some members decided to break quorum,” Briscoe Cain observed. “We all know what that meant. I understand why they were doing it, but we all took an oath to Texans that we would be here to do our jobs.”

The thing that sent Dems into total panic mode was the final language of what was certain to become law. “Republicans added language to the 67-page measure that could have made it easier for a judge to overturn an election.”

Also, Texas “would have also eliminated drive-thru voting and 24-hour polling centers, both of which Harris County introduced last year.” Houston happens to be located in Harris County, “the state’s largest Democratic stronghold.”
