Dems Begin to Turn on Biden in BIG Way

Biden

With Joe Biden threatening to officially crawl into the 2024 presidential race, Democrats are waking up to the horrors of what that actually means for their future. The editorial board at Wall Street Journal decided to break the ice and point to the extinct woolly mammoth in the room.

Biden too old to run

Joe Biden is clearly too old to run for president. He can barely walk. Even the liberal editors at WSJ took a thinly veiled shot at his alleged Alzheimer’s, by noting his proclivity to “sundown.” Old folks like Joe tend to get a little fuzzy in late afternoon.

He’s likely to babble your ear off about Corn Pop but won’t be able to comprehend a national security briefing. “In 2008 Hillary Clinton ran an ad saying that she was prepared to take a 3 a.m. phone call in a crisis,” the editorial board, in their infinitely progressive wisdom, wrote. “Could an 84-year-old Joe Biden take a 3 p.m. call?

The public understands what Mr. Biden apparently won’t admit,” WSJ flatly declared. “that electing an octogenarian in obvious decline for another four years could be an historic mistake.” Not only that, “asking the country to elect a man who is 80 years old and whose second term would end when he is 86 is a risky act that borders on selfish.

Besides that, he doesn’t stand a chance against Donald Trump. Especially now that Trump’s been indicted before Hunter has. That’s coming soon, too. Along with potential indictments of Joe and several others in the family. They’ve apparently been peddling influence the way the Corleone family peddles olive oil.

Even WSJ can see the cracks breaking through the spin and propaganda. The White House, they write, “goes to great lengths” to hide the declining health of Joe Biden.

Despite their blanket denials, “his decline is clear to anyone who isn’t willfully blind.” They point out “his lack of press conferences, scripted appearances, and public stumbles” as “evidence for their position.” Things are looking pretty grim for Joe.

The decline is considerable

Of course, WSJ’s editors note, “different people age at different rates, but the risk of an accelerated decline for Mr. Biden is considerable. The chance that he could serve a full second term is hardly assured.” He could keel over in his bowl of ice cream any minute now.

That really scares them because “Vice President Kamala Harris would make a poor commander-in-chief.” Nobody is even sure what she’s been doing for the past two years. Even Democrats can see that “that she would be nearly unelectable” if Joe became “forced to drop out of the race.

That was the nice way of saying “if Joe suddenly drops dead.” Trying to get him elected with all those House oversight hearings into alleged criminal wrongdoing by half the Biden family only makes the nightmare worse for progressives. There’s enough of a chance that they’re terrified over it.

In that event, voters on the fence could swing toward a Republican nominee who can at least meet the rigors of the office. Yes, even Donald Trump.” Some are saying that the suicide rate inside the beltway spiked when the article published.

Wall Street Journal really hopes that Joe Biden “is not the only Democrat who can defeat former President Trump in a general election.” Even though it looks that way. By teasing a campaign announcement now, he’s really mucking things up. It would be a whole lot better for the Democrat party if Joe were to bow out.

That “would give ample time for younger Democratic governors to get in the race.” That thought has liberals huddled in the corner with a fuzzy blanket and a teddy bear. They could end up backing Gavin Newsom, J.B. Pritzker or Kathy Hochul. Trump would eat any one of them for lunch. Even if he’s sitting in a jail cell at the time. “Especially” if he is.
