Mayor Pete Buttigieg may be looked at as a youngster by the rest of the senior citizen field of Democrats, but he is starting to land some grownup shots.
Bernie Sandersā past is his undoing, and Buttigieg is doing his best to bring that up after posting an old speech of Sanders praising the Castro regime of Cuba resurfacedā¦
After four years of looking on in horror as Trump cozied up to dictators, we need a president who will be extremely clear in standing against regimes that violate human rights abroad. We can't risk nominating someone who doesn't recognize this. pic.twitter.com/N2JHGzns93

Canāt Endorse Castro
The video of Sanders praising Castro is not new, but it has been put on the backburner.
The words that Sanders says about Castro and Cuba, as well as a later praising Russian leadership, are very dangerous and disturbing.
Trump has taken criticism for complimenting the likes of Putin and Kim, and, quite frankly, he should, but his comments failed to reach the level of deep praise and awe that Sanders clearly has for these governments.
Sandersā comments are so disturbing, Democrats throughout the party are trying to distance themselves from Sanders in an effort to protect their own seats.
Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-FL) is a perfect example, recently tweeting, āAs the first South American immigrant member of Congress who proudly represents thousands of Cuban Americans, I find Senator Bernie Sandersā comments on Castroās Cuba absolutely unacceptable.
āThe Castro regime murdered and jailed dissidents, and caused unspeakable harm to too many South Florida families.
āTo this day, it remains an authoritarian regime that oppresses its people, subverts the free press, and stifles a free society.ā
She was far from the only oneā¦
I'm hoping that in the future, Senator Sanders will take time to speak to some of my constituents before he decides to sing the praises of a murderous tyrant like Fidel Castro. https://t.co/Iwvmay9LOH pic.twitter.com/KT9sQ0pfkh

Senator Marco Rubio also took a jabā¦
Likely Dem nominee praised the supposed āachievementsā Castro regime
And heās wrong about why people didnāt overthrow Castro. Itās not because āhe educated their kids, gave them health careā itās because his opponents were jailed, murdered or exiled https://t.co/6i41w7zcDe

The funny thing about Bernie Sanders is that he has a past, and it is not all filled with strawberries and whipped cream.
He refuses to discuss it, especially about his son that was born out of wedlock, and nobody has ever taken him as a serious threat, so his past was never really truly pursued.
You better believe, though, that if Sanders comes out of South Carolina with a win, it is all going to come outā¦ his son, his adulation of dictators and communist regimes, and oh yes, his writing for the Vermont Freeman.
Believe me, patriots, there are significant skeletons, which his why his current wife once said, āWe are who we say we are.ā
You might be able to get away with that as a mayor of a small Vermont town, a congressman, and even a Senator, but you wonāt be able to get away with that as the Democrat nominee for the presidency of the United States.
