Mysterious Death of Trump Supporter

A Trump supporter has been found dead in his basement after being charged for his involvement in the January 6 Capitol riot.

The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed, and the matter is still under investigation. Police removed two semi-automatic SKS rifles from the victim’s home.

Christopher Stanton Georgia, 53, was found by his wife in the basement of their home in Alpharetta, Georgia, on the morning of January 9. She reportedly told police that there was “blood everywhere.”

Family members who were at the scene were described as “extremely distressed” in the police report.

Georgia was employed as a regional portfolio manager at BB&T, a banking company based in North Carolina. The Trump supporter had been charged with attempting to “enter certain property, that is, the United States Capitol Grounds, against the will of the United States Capitol Police,” prior to his death.

Court documents show that Georgia was facing a maximum penalty of up to 180 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine after he stayed out past the 6 p.m. citywide curfew after officers told the protestors to leave around 7:15 p.m.

During the storming of the Capitol, five people died, including police officer Brian Sicknick, who died in the hospital after suffering from injuries at the protest. Three of the victims died of medical emergencies, and one victim, 14-year Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt, died after being shot by Capitol police.

President Trump has declared a state of emergency in Washington, D.C., apparently fearing that more violent clashes may occur in the leadup to Inauguration Day.
