Black Lives Matter anarchists tried to block the entrance to a hospital after two deputies were shot, shouting that they “hope they die”, and attempted to storm the emergency room.
The Ambush
Two Los Angeles deputies, 24-year-old male and a 31-year-old female, were sitting in their patrol car outside the Metro Blue Line station at Willowbrook Avenue and Compton Boulevard at around 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Footage of the shooting shows the suspect in dark clothing, walking up to the parked car on the passenger side. He then fires several times at close range, and runs off on foot.
Immediately after the ambush, one deputy emerges from the passenger side and stumbles around for a few seconds before the surveillance video ends. Both deputies were rushed to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. The deputies were both alive, but in critical condition.
“That was a cowardly act. The two deputies were doing their job, minding their own business, watching out for the safety of the people on the train,” Sheriff Alex Villanueva said.
Journalist Buck Sexton shared the video of the incident on Twitter, alongside his statement about the incident (Warning, graphic video):
This ambush of LAPD was just like the assassination of NYPD officers Ramos and Liu in 2014 by a BLM supporter
Remember why BLM faded away as a movement the first time? Because of the murder of 5 Dallas police officers in 2016 by another BLM supporter.
History repeats itself. https://t.co/z9Ij4eeKuA

The Scene at the Hospital
Black Lives Matter anarchists swarmed the hospital, attempting to block the entrance. A tweet thread with 11 separate videos shows the chaos outside the hospital. In the first video, a man is speaking to the camera, referring to the injured police officers as “notorious gang members” and “murderers”. In later videos, activists are yelling “oink, oink” at officers, and one can be heard yelling “let that b*tch die”.
The video also shows these BLM thugs attempting to enter the hospital, where they are stopped by officers. They try to argue that its a public hospital and they should be allowed to enter, but the officer shuts them down stating that it is actually a private hospital.
A video posted by Ian Miles Cheong, editor of Human Events, shows an individual speaking to police officers guarding the hospital, saying: âI want to deliver a message to the family of the pigs: I hope they f***ing die.â

Witnesses have told a local ABC affiliate that the BLM anarchists were shouting “death to the police” and “kill the police”. He also confirmed that the activists attempted to enter the emergency room.

âTo the protesters blocking the entrance & exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling âWe hope they dieâ referring to 2 LA Sheriffâs ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES & EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL. Peopleâs lives are at stake when ambulances canât get through,â the LA County Sheriffs wrote on Twitter.
Journalist Ryan James Girdusky also tweeted about the incident, stating that âBlack Lives Matter activists saying âyâall gonna die one by oneâ to the police officers as their colleagues are fighting for their lives.â
âEven after the police were shot⌠Black Lives Matter protestors were blocking the entrance and exit to the hospital. This is not a peaceful movement,â Girdusky added.
