Hawk Newsome, the controversial leader of Greater New York’s chapter of Black Lives Matter™, promised “bloodshed” in a meeting with the city’s new Mayor, Eric Adams. Police, he warns, better not get any sneaky ideas about enforcing the laws.

Get ready for bloodshed

New York City has been officially warned by BLM that there will be bloodshed and ambushed cops if the city dares to arrest criminal lawbreakers.

On Wednesday, November 10, Eric Adams, the former police captain just elected mayor, “met with Hawk Newsome, the BLM leader, and others behind closed doors at Brooklyn’s Borough Hall.” The doors may have been closed but the shouting came through loud and clear.

“The meeting was tense and turned into a shouting match,” reports note. They argued especially loud over a “possibility that the city could reinstate its anti-crime unit.” Targeting repeat criminals like that is a “Nazi Gestapo” move, Newsome sneered.

“If he thinks that they’re going to go back to the old ways of policing, then we are going to take to the streets again. There will be riots, there will be fire and there will be bloodshed because we believe in defending our people.” That’s not an “insurrectionary” threat or anything, though, liberals insist.

BLM, and their Antifa® sponsors, Newsome declares, are praying for peace while preparing for war. They’re prepared “for the worst,” even if it means violent bloodshed. That was his own word.

Hawk Newsome’s sister and BLM brigade co-leader Chivona Newsome doubled down on the violent threats. “We will shut down City Hall, and we will give him hell and make it a nightmare.”

Mayor Eric Adams personally experienced police brutality as a teen.

Don’t hand me that

Freshly minted Mayor Adams was quick to fight back, don’t hand me that crap, he thundered. He’s just as Black as Newsome. He may have rose through the police ranks but he “gained early attention for speaking critically about the department he served in.”

He’s no stranger to the issues. Adams personally “experienced police brutality as a teen.” When he was an innocent lad of 15, he was “beaten by police officers when he was arrested for trespassing.” Simple Progressive propaganda does not justify bloodshed now.

Adams flatly rejected progressive mantras to ‘defund the police,’ and said he was proud of his time in the department. It wasn’t that long ago that citizens were howling for formal law enforcement.

Vigilante justice is quick and effective but not always just. Without police on the streets, the citizens will take their self-defense into their own hands. If that means bloodshed, so be it. Bring it on.

Eric Adams made it clear to Newsome and his terrorist associates that he might be “seen as the moderate candidate” because he stood up for business owners demanding protection from looting and arson.

He’s no DINO, he insists “and maintains he is a progressive.” Even so, threats of bloodshed don’t intimidate him. He’ll answer as appropriate, at the appropriate time.
